Per Diem Retail Pharmacist | Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

A retail pharmacy requires a skilled pharmacist to provide professional dispensing and patient care services during daytime shifts at a newly opened location. This role is ideal for those with retail pharmacy experience who hold an active Pennsylvania pharmacy license and are comfortable working with the DRX computer system in a low-volume setting.

Location:

• Philadelphia, PA

Schedule:

• Per Diem, Day Shifts: 9:30 AM 4:30 PM
• Dates: July 27, 30, and 31

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Use the DRX computer system to manage prescriptions and patient information.
• Provide counseling and answer patient questions to ensure safe and effective medication use.
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Support pharmacy operations at a low volume, newly opened retail environment.

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania pharmacy license.
• Previous retail pharmacy experience.
• Proficient in using pharmacy computer systems; experience with DRX preferred.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a retail setting.
