Hospital Pharmacist - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
A Permanent Pharmacist role is available for a clinical professional eager to expand their expertise in both Emergency Department (ED) and Critical Care Unit (CCU) settings. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop clinical skills across multiple units, including participation on the antibiotic stewardship team, avoiding the limitation of focusing on a single floor.

- State College, Pennsylvania, a vibrant area home to Penn State University

Responsibilities:
- Verify and enter medication orders and review medication profiles for appropriateness
- Provide clinical services tailored to specific patient populations
- Offer drug information and participate in multidisciplinary rounds as assigned
- Monitor drug therapy and conduct pharmacist-managed consults according to protocol
- Engage in acute patient care scenarios, including cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- PGYI residency completed or a minimum of 3 years of current clinical pharmacy experience
- Valid Pennsylvania pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Experience with Meditech IT systems preferred
Schedule:
- Variable days and afternoons with an emphasis on day shifts
- 8-hour shifts, primarily during daytime hours
Compensation:
- Annual salary range between $108,000 and $169,000 with a midpoint near $139,000
- Relocation assistance offered on a case-by-case basis
