Travel Inpatient Pharmacist | Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

This opportunity is for an experienced inpatient pharmacist to support hospital pharmacy operations over a 16-week travel assignment in Wellsville, NY. The role involves working closely with the inpatient care team to ensure safe and effective medication management and verification within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Verify and review intravenous (IV) medications and orders to ensure accuracy and safety
• Support inpatient pharmacy operations adhering to hospital protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards in medication handling

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient or clinical pharmacy experience
• Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy practices, especially inpatient medication management
• Ability to accurately verify IV orders and work within a multidisciplinary team
• Licensed pharmacist with credentials valid for the assignment location

Location:

• Wellsville, New York

Schedule/Hours:

• Days, rotating shifts between 7:00 AM3:30 PM and 8:00 AM4:30 PM
• Approximately one weekend per month
• Must be available to work at least one holiday, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years
