A home infusion pharmacy is seeking a Production Pharmacist to support the preparation, verification, and dispensing of sterile IV medications. This contract position requires expertise in ensuring accuracy and safety in medication handling within an acute-care or home infusion environment.

Schedule: MondayFriday
Hours: 10:00 AM6:00 PM OR 9:30 AM5:30 PM
Attire: Business casual or scrubs
Term: 2 months

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders and patient records with precision.
• Prepare, supervise, and verify sterile IV medications following strict protocols.
• Confirm accuracy of medications, supplies, and equipment prior to dispensing.
• Monitor drug therapy, lab results, and patient outcomes as necessary.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.
• Support quality assurance initiatives and participate in staff training when required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• RPh or PharmD degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
• Current active pharmacist license in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum 2 years recent acute-care pharmacy experience or 1 year recent home infusion experience.
• Proficient knowledge of IV therapy and sterile compounding procedures.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
