Inpatient Pharmacist in Piedmont, SC

A 13-week contract opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations at a well-established hospital in Piedmont, SC. This role offers an engaging environment focused on delivering quality medication management within a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Location:
Inpatient Pharmacy, 1 St. Francis Drive, 4th Floor, Greenville, SC 29601

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts
• Pharmacy hours from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inpatient medication therapy with an emphasis on critical care and drips
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance protocols and regulatory requirements
• Handle controlled substances according to hospital policies
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Utilize pharmacy systems for order processing and documentation, with Epic experience considered a strong asset

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in South Carolina (SC License)
• 1-5 years hospital inpatient pharmacy experience preferred; candidates with 2+ years may be considered due to minimal training availability
• Proficient knowledge of critical medication management, including drips and high-risk drugs
• Experience with quality assurance processes in a hospital setting
• Familiarity with controlled substance handling and regulatory compliance
• Epic electronic health record experience is a plus
