A Level III trauma center with 120 beds is seeking a travel pharmacist for night shifts in Norfolk, NE. This 13-week contract position requires someone who can start as soon as possible and adapt to a fast-paced inpatient environment.

Location: Norfolk, NE
Schedule:

  • 7 days on, 7 days off (Wednesday to Tuesday)
  • 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Responsibilities:

  • Validate medication orders and perform kinetic dosing
  • Check medications prior to distribution
  • Respond to nursing staff inquiries
  • Oversee compounding activities during the night shift
  • Handle outpatient prescription filling for Emergency Department patients
  • Collaborate with pharmacy technicians available for support

Qualifications:

  • Nebraska pharmacist license required
  • Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience
  • Experience with EPIC preferred but not required; training available
  • Comfortable working independently during night hours
