A retail pharmacy in Pine Grove, PA, seeks a licensed pharmacist to provide per diem coverage with an immediate start. This role offers an opportunity to support daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment with prescription volumes ranging from 150 to 200 per day. The position is temporary/PRN, lasting several weeks, with the possibility of ongoing assignments.

Responsibilities include verifying and accurately dispensing prescriptions, counseling patients on medication use, overseeing pharmacy technicians, and ensuring compliance with all pharmacy regulations. Schedule: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
Setting: Retail pharmacy
Prescription volume: Approximately 150200 prescriptions daily
Pharmacy System: PioneerRx
Duration: Temporary/PRN, several weeks with potential for ongoing work

Qualifications:

Active pharmacist license in Pennsylvania, in good standing
Experience in retail pharmacy operations
Familiarity with PioneerRx is preferred but not mandatory
Dependable and able to start immediately
