A 13-week pharmacist assignment is open in Pineville, LA, at a community hospital with over 200 beds. The role requires overseeing medication order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, and consulting closely with physicians and nurses to ensure optimal patient care. Additional responsibilities include managing pharmacokinetics and working with healthcare teams.

Schedule:

Four 10-hour shifts per week
Rotating schedules that may include 6 AM4:30 PM, 7 AM5:30 PM, or 12:30 PM11 PM shifts
Every other weekend rotation

Key qualifications include:

Valid Louisiana pharmacist license
Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records and Pyxis systems
