RPh on the Go is seeking experienced and newly licensed Pharmacists for a Direct Hire opportunity with a growing specialty pharmacy in Pittsburgh!

Schedule:

MondayFriday
Rotating schedule between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM
Candidates must be comfortable with a rotating schedule
Exact schedule will be discussed during the phone interview

About the Opportunity:
Join a centralized specialty pharmacy platform focused on providing patients with convenient access to branded medications, transparent pricing, free home delivery, and exceptional patient support. The pharmacy works across multiple therapeutic areas, including Ophthalmology, Dermatology, and GLP-1 medications.

Responsibilities:

Provide proactive patient counseling and medication education by phone
Answer questions regarding prescriptions, refills, side effects, adherence, and proper medication use
Communicate with prescribers and physician offices to clarify prescriptions and resolve clinical issues
Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions
Assess prescriptions for drug interactions, contraindications, dosing accuracy, and therapeutic appropriateness
Verify prescriptions in a high-volume, closed-door fulfillment environment
Ensure accuracy of medication, dosage, quantity, and labeling before dispensing
Assist with receiving, processing, and transferring prescriptions
Manage prescription transfers from start to finish and ensure a positive patient experience

Requirements:

Clear and active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license
06 years of pharmacist experience preferred
Retail, mail order, specialty, or similar pharmacy experience preferred
New graduates are welcome to apply
Strong communication and patient-care skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy environment
Must be willing to work a rotating MondayFriday schedule between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM
