Hospital Pharmacist | Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

A Staff Pharmacist role is available for a psychiatric hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, for the month of October (10/110/31) with a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This contract position may have an extension but will not convert to permanent employment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and verify medication orders within hospital systems.
• Manage and dispense medications using automated dispensing machines.
• Collaborate effectively with hospital administrators, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure safe and effective medication use.
• Uphold pharmacy policies and maintain compliance with regulatory standards specific to a psychiatric hospital setting.

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist license required.
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Proficiency with data entry and medication order verification systems.
• Experience operating automated dispensing machines.
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with multidisciplinary hospital teams.

Schedule:

• MondayFriday
• 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
