Per Diem Retail Pharmacist | Plainwell, Michigan

A per diem opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to provide essential pharmacy services in a behavioral health environment. This role requires dedicated coverage onsite every Friday or Monday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with additional on-call responsibilities in the early morning and evening hours.

Responsibilities include staffing the pharmacy, maintaining appropriate inventory levels through stocking, and approving orders to ensure smooth pharmacy operations. Experience with HCS order entry systems is preferred, and familiarity with Med-dispense automation enhances efficiency in the workplace.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Pharmacy License
• Pharmacy experience, particularly in retail or behavioral health settings
• Knowledge of RX processes and regulations
• Experience or willingness to learn HCS order entry system
• Comfortable working independently and managing on-call duties

Shift Details:

• Onsite coverage: Every Friday or Monday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
• On-call hours: 5:00 AM 8:00 AM and until 7:30 PM on coverage days
