A hospital pharmacist opportunity is available in Portland, OR, offering a mix of staffing and clinical/decentralized responsibilities. This contract position begins as soon as possible and extends for 13 weeks or longer, with day shifts scheduled.

Responsibilities:

  • Dispensing and verifying medications for inpatient and outpatient/clinic settings
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy
  • Utilizing Cerner for electronic medical records and Pyxis for automated medication dispensing
  • Providing clinical consultations and supporting decentralized pharmacy services

Qualifications:

  • Valid Oregon Pharmacist License
  • Strong experience in inpatient and clinical pharmacy settings
  • Familiarity with hospital pharmacy systems, including Cerner and Pyxis
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Schedule:

  • Day shifts
  • Start ASAP
  • Duration: 13 weeks+, contract role
