Travel Outpatient Retail Pharmacist in Portland, OR

This opportunity is for a Travel Pharmacist working in retail and outpatient settings within a health system in Klamath Falls, OR. The role involves providing critical pharmacy services across multiple nearby locations, supporting prescription verification, filling, tech oversight, and patient counseling.

Location: Klamath Falls, OR
Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Monday to Friday: 7:45 AM 7:15 PM
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM 5:15 PM (some Saturdays required)
• Float coverage among several pharmacy sites within a 5-mile radius
  Duration: 13 weeks travel assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and fill prescriptions with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee daily workflow
• Counsel patients regarding prescription and OTC medications to ensure safe and effective use
• Collaborate closely with healthcare providers in outpatient and retail settings

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Oregon pharmacist license
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience preferred
• Ability to manage a fast-paced retail and outpatient pharmacy environment
• Flexible availability to meet requested schedule and float between locations
