Hospital Pharmacist in Portland, OR

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a 230-bed acute care hospital in Yakima, WA, seeking a Night Pharmacist to support overnight operations. This 13-week contract role offers a 7-on/7-off schedule with 12-hour night shifts (6 pm to 6 am) and the potential to transition to a permanent position.

Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians and nurses, and managing pharmacokinetics. The pharmacist will utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems to ensure accurate and efficient medication dispensing and patient care.

Ideal candidates hold a valid Washington State pharmacist license and have prior hospital pharmacy experience. Willingness to work night shifts is essential for success in this role.
