This opportunity offers a per diem position as a Staff Pharmacist specializing in retail and non-sterile compounding in a pharmacy environment. The role focuses primarily on retail prescription checks with limited patient counseling, and includes verifying some non-sterile compounded medications using formula calculations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform retail prescription verification with accuracy and attention to detail
• Review and check non-sterile compounded prescriptions, applying mathematical calculations as needed for formula validation
• Utilize Pioneer RX for prescription order entry and processing
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards in retail and compounding operations

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Virginia pharmacy license required
• Proven retail pharmacy experience essential
• Experience with non-sterile compounding preferred
• Strong mathematical skills for formula checking
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX system a plus

Location and Schedule:

• Position located in Pounding Mill, VA
• Shift: Fridays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (per diem availability)
