Per Diem Retail IV Compounding Pharmacist | Pounding Mill, Virginia

This role offers the opportunity to work as a Staff Pharmacist in a dynamic retail and compounding environment. The position focuses primarily on order verification and accuracy, ensuring customers receive safe and effective medications.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct retail prescription checks with attention to detail and efficiency
• Verify non-sterile compounded preparations, applying mathematical skills for formula accuracy
• Utilize Pioneer RX for order entry and processing
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with pharmacy team to support seamless operations during your shift

Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia pharmacy license required
• Experience in a retail pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with non-sterile compounding is highly desirable
• Proficiency in Pioneer RX system or similar pharmacy software
• Strong mathematical aptitude for compounding calculations

Schedule:

• Fridays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
