Per Diem Retail Pharmacist - Price, Utah

A retail pharmacy is seeking a pharmacist to provide professional medication dispensing and patient care services on a per diem basis. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with retail experience looking to support a busy pharmacy environment with a committed team.

Location:

• Price, Utah

Schedule:

• Weekdays: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Saturdays: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• Work dates requested: August 21 and August 22

Environment & Volume:

• Retail pharmacy setting
• Team includes 1.5 pharmacists and 3 pharmacy technicians
• Daily prescription volume of approximately 75 to 100

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescriptions in accordance with state laws and pharmacy policies
• Provide patient counseling and respond to medication-related inquiries
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians who handle order entry using Pioneer RX system
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
• Support daily pharmacy operations to maintain efficient workflow

Qualifications:

• Valid Utah pharmacy license required
• Retail pharmacy experience essential
• Experience with Pioneer RX a plus but not required; technicians handle the order entry process
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
