Retail Pharmacist - Ranchos De Taos, NM

A licensed Retail Pharmacist opportunity is available in Ranchos De Taos, NM, offering either a 13-week contract or a direct hire position. This role suits pharmacists who thrive in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment and enjoy delivering high-quality medication services directly to patients.

Responsibilities include accurately reviewing, verifying, and dispensing prescriptions, counseling patients on medication use and side effects, performing prospective drug utilization reviews, and providing immunizations and other clinical services as applicable. You will collaborate with prescribers to address medication-related questions, ensure compliance with all regulations, maintain records, support pharmacy technicians, and assist with workflow management and daily operationsall while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of practice
• PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program
• Previous retail or community pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong communication and patient counseling skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, independently and as part of a team
• Immunization certification preferred and may be required depending on assignment
