Retail Pharmacist in Rapid City, SD

A retail pharmacist opportunity is available for a 13+ week contract in South Dakota, providing up to 40 hours per week in a grocery store pharmacy setting. This role offers a competitive pay rate starting at $60 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM 3:00 PM

Responsibilities include:

• Filling and verifying prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Reviewing and checking work completed by pharmacy technicians
• Providing patient counseling to ensure safe medication use
• Handling pharmacy and patient phone inquiries professionally
• Assisting with daily retail pharmacy operations to maintain workflow
• Supporting the Pharmacist-in-Charge with additional responsibilities as required

Qualifications:

• Active South Dakota Pharmacist license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience
• Strong communication skills with a focus on exceptional patient service
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within the pharmacy team
