Position Details:

• Setting: 25-bed surgical hospital
• Schedule: 8-hour day shifts
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: Immediate to soon
• IT Systems: EPIC, Pyxis

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure workflow quality
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize pharmacotherapy
• Conduct pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
• Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid South Dakota pharmacist license required
• Inpatient pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis systems is advantageous
• Strong communication and clinical consulting skills
• Ability to work independently and lead technician staff
