Outpatient Pharmacist | Redwood Valley, California

This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with experience in retail pharmacy settings, seeking a contract position in an outpatient hospital environment. The role focuses on ensuring accurate dispensing and verification of prescriptions while overseeing pharmacy technicians and providing patient counseling on both prescription and over-the-counter medications.

Responsibilities:

• Fill and verify prescriptions with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians

• Utilize Cerner IT system for prescription management and documentation

Qualifications:

• Valid California pharmacist license required
