Responsibilities:

• Accurately review, verify, and dispense prescription medications
• Counsel patients on medication usage, potential interactions, and side effects
• Perform prospective drug utilization reviews
• Provide immunizations and other pharmacist-administered clinical services as applicable
• Communicate with prescribers regarding medication-related inquiries
• Ensure strict compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Maintain accurate prescription and pharmacy records
• Support pharmacy technicians and collaborate effectively with pharmacy team members
• Assist with workflow management and daily operations to maintain excellent service delivery

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in Kentucky
• PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program
• Prior retail or community pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong communication and patient counseling skills
• Immunization certification preferred and may be required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic setting
