A major hospital within the Texas Medical Center is seeking a skilled pharmacist to support their inpatient pharmacy services. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed professional ready to contribute to a busy 500+ bed facility known for comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Richmond, TX
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks +), with potential for temp-to-hire
Schedule Options:

• 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM
• 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, verify, and dispense medications according to inpatient orders
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy and patient safety
• Utilize EPIC or similar electronic health record systems to document and manage medication therapies

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Pharmacist License
• Texas IV Certification required
• Minimum of 3 years inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• EPIC system proficiency preferred but not mandatory
