Schedule Options:

• 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• 4:00 PM to 3:30 AM

Responsibilities:

• Verify physician orders accurately ensuring patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and collaborate within the pharmacy team
• Consult with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to optimize medication therapy
• Manage pharmacokinetic dosing and monitor patient responses
• Utilize clinical IT systems including Meditech, Vigilanz, Dose Edge, and Pyxis for medication management and inventory control

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Virginia (VA Pharmacist license required)
• Experience or familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations preferred
