A healthcare facility in Rio Rancho, NM, is seeking an experienced inpatient pharmacist to support overnight operations. This role involves working primarily at a 315-bed hospital, with occasional responsibilities at nearby women's and Westside hospitals as needed. The position is contract to hire, providing an excellent opportunity to transition into a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and verify inpatient medication orders during the overnight shift
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Provide pharmaceutical care and counseling to patients when necessary
• Assist with pharmacy operations at nearby hospitals as needed
• Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory policies

Qualifications:

• Valid New Mexico pharmacist license is required
• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts

• Flexibility to support additional hospital locations when needed

Schedule:

• Start date: November 9
• Duration: 13-week contract to hire
• Shift: Overnight, beginning at 4:30 PM
• Work schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, with rotating weekends
