Travel Retail Pharmacist | Rochester, New York

Join a respected health system as a Staff Pharmacist in an outpatient retail pharmacy setting. This full-time travel position is primarily based in Cooperstown, New York, with occasional coverage required at Oneonta and Delhi locations to support vacation and sick leave needs. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.

Location:

• Cooperstown, NY (primary)
• Occasional coverage at Oneonta and Delhi, NY

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense approximately 1,100 prescriptions per week in a high-volume outpatient retail pharmacy
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring patient satisfaction is a top priority
• Participate in the Meds to Beds program for hospital discharged patients
• Administer immunization services as part of pharmacy offerings
• Utilize PioneerRx Pharmacy Management System for daily operations
• Access patient demographic and insurance data through the EPIC EMR system
• Support occasional pharmacy operations at affiliated locations (Oneonta and Delhi) as needed

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active New York State Pharmacist License in good standing
• Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy required; high-volume dispensing preferred
• Familiarity with PioneerRx pharmacy system preferred
• Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer servicethis is essential
• Flexibility to provide coverage at multiple locations as necessary
