Outpatient Pharmacist - Rock Valley, IA

This opportunity offers the chance to work as a retail pharmacist within a critical access hospital setting, supporting a 340B outpatient pharmacy. The pharmacy dispenses approximately 140 prescriptions daily, operating with a small team consisting of one pharmacist and two technicians. The environment is professional with a focus on quality patient care.

Pharmacy hours are structured to maintain work-life balance:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM 6:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
  On-call duties are possible but infrequent.

Key responsibilities include managing prescription dispensing, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating closely with a dedicated pharmacy team. The pharmacy operates using the Pioneer computer system and does not utilize automation or mail order services.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year recent retail or outpatient pharmacy experience
• Active and clear Iowa pharmacist license
