Schedule:

• Full-time
• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pharmaceutical compounding for sterile and non-sterile preparations, including extemporaneous formulations.
• Screen prescriptions for accuracy, appropriate dosages, and potential therapeutic, chemical, or physical incompatibilities.
• Advise patients and healthcare staff on dosage regimens, side effects, and proper medication storage.
• Participate in medication reconciliation and interdisciplinary team rounds to enhance patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers on medication selection, dosing, monitoring, and identifying potential adverse effects.

Qualifications:

• Clear and active pharmacist license in any state required.
• At least 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience preferred.
• Prior experience working in Indian Health Service (IHS) pharmacy settings is highly desirable.
