Travel Retail Pharmacist - Saint Paul, MN

A specialty pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist for a travel assignment in Brainerd, MN. This opportunity involves providing expert pharmaceutical care in a long-term care pharmacy setting with a reputable pharmacy facility. The assignment lasts for at least 13 weeks and offers a dynamic environment to utilize your clinical skills and patient care expertise.

Responsibilities include dispensing medications, managing prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations specific to long-term care. The pharmacist will also play a vital role in patient education, medication therapy management, and collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. 5:30 p.m.
• Some weekends required

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license
• Immunization certification
• CPR certification
• PharmD degree or Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification preferred
• Experience in long-term care pharmacy and retail prescription (RX) operations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members
