Mail Order Pharmacist | San Bernardino, California

Location: Ontario, California
Position Type: Contract (13+ weeks)
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Full-time, 37.5 to 40 hours per week
• Weekends closed

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions according to practitioner directions
• Conduct clinical drug screenings to prevent adverse interactions
• Counsel patients on medication use and potential side effects
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, interns, and support staff
• Maintain clear, professional communication with patients and clinic personnel
• Manage billing documentation and inventory control with precision
• Ensure safe and timely medication fulfillment and delivery
• Assist with new business development and timely service execution
• Participate in pharmacy budget planning and manage operational costs within guidelines

Qualifications:

• Current, active California Pharmacist license in good standing with no negative history
• Preferred experience in specialty, mail order, retail, or ambulatory pharmacy
• Minimum of 1 year retail or ambulatory pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient and clinic interaction
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
• Analytical capability to support safe and efficient medication dispensing
