Travel Inpatient Pharmacist | San Francisco, California

A position is available for two travel pharmacists to support a progressive inpatient pharmacy department at a large 500-bed hospital. This role involves providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care in an inpatient setting within a well-established hospital environment.

Location: Visalia, CA
Schedule:

• Variable days and afternoons
• 10-hour shifts
• Full-time availability preferred

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Managing pharmacokinetics and related clinical duties
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Utilizing Cerner pharmacy information system (experience preferred)

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current California Pharmacist license required
• Proven experience in an inpatient pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records systems is a strong plus
• Ability to work full-time with flexible scheduling availability
• Strong communication and supervisory skills
