Travel Hospital Pharmacist | San Francisco, California

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available in Ft Bragg, CA, offering a 26-week assignment with day shifts on a 4x10 schedule. This role involves providing essential pharmacy services within a hospital setting, contributing to patient care and medication management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure operational efficiency
• Collaborate and consult with nurses and physicians regarding medication therapy
• Assist in chemotherapy preparation and protocols (experience preferred)
• Utilize Cerner and support the transition to EPIC electronic health record systems
• Manage medication dispensing through Omnicell automated systems

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active California pharmacist license required
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience highly desirable
• Familiarity with Cerner and EPIC systems preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work full-time and reliably manage a 4 days/week, 10 hours/day schedule
