Outpatient Inpatient Pharmacist | San Francisco, California

A pharmacist role is available in the San Mateo County Medical Center, located in the Bay Area, CA. This contract position offers an engaging environment serving both inpatient and outpatient hospital pharmacy needs. The schedule includes 4x10 day shifts with mid shifts and alternating start times spanning 7 AM to 10 PM, ensuring no overnight duties. Every third weekend is required.

Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacist License
• Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Flexibility to rotate between retail and inpatient pharmacy settings

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications and provide pharmaceutical care across inpatient and outpatient hospital units
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy for patients
• Manage medication distribution and inventory control within hospital pharmacy departments
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
