Travel Hospital Pharmacist - San Jose, CA

Location: Santa Cruz, CA
Schedule:

• 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each
• Second shifts: 12:30 pm 9:00 pm and 2:30 pm 11:00 pm
• Some weekends required
• ASAP start for a 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding patient medication therapy
• Utilize Cerner pharmacy information system for documentation and medication management

Desired Qualifications:

• Active California pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Full-time availability with flexibility to cover second shift hours and weekends
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team
• Candidates able to work within budgetary guidelines preferred
