Travel Hospital Pharmacist | San Mateo, California

This travel pharmacist opportunity offers a dynamic role in a hospital setting located in Ft Bragg, CA. The position is scheduled for 26 weeks and is available to start as soon as possible.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour day shifts per week

Responsibilities:

• Perform order verification to ensure accurate dispensing of medications
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and oversight
• Consult with nurses and physicians to assist in patient care decisions
• Support chemotherapy medication handling and preparation, with some experience in this area preferred
• Utilize IT systems including Cerner (with ongoing transition to EPIC) and Omnicell for medication management

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active California pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience is highly desirable
• Availability to work full-time hours within the scheduled shifts
• Familiarity with chemotherapy protocols is a plus
