Travel Inpatient Pharmacist - Santa Barbara, CA

Seeking two experienced pharmacists for a travel assignment at a large, 500-bed progressive hospital located in Southern California. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a dynamic inpatient pharmacy department known for its advanced practices and innovative care.

Location: Visalia, CA
Position Type: Travel Pharmacist
Assignment Duration: 13+ weeks with an ASAP start
Schedule: Variable days/afternoons, 10-hour shifts

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders timely and accurately
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure quality and efficiency
• Monitoring pharmacokinetics to optimize patient medication therapy
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for patient-centered care
• Utilizing Cerner electronic health record system for medication management (experience preferred)

Desired Qualifications:

• Active California Pharmacist license required
• Proven inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Flexibility to work full-time hours (variable days and afternoon shifts)
• Familiarity with Cerner health IT system is advantageous but not mandatory
