Per Diem Pharmacist | Scottsdale, Arizona

Support medication management and patient care as a Per Diem Retail Pharmacist in the Phoenix area. This role offers the opportunity to deliver quality pharmaceutical services within a collaborative team environment. With a manageable prescription volume and a supportive staff, this position is ideal for pharmacists who value meaningful interactions and personalized care.

Location:

• Scottsdale, AZ (Phoenix metropolitan area)

Schedule/Hours:

• 5 days of coverage plus training
• Shift times: 8:30 AM 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring all patient allergies are verified prior to dispensing
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and in line with organizational policies
• Deliver excellent customer service by fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere for patients
• Collaborate with 1 pharmacist and 3 pharmacy technicians within the Pioneer Rx system
• Manage a prescription volume of under 100 scripts per day to maintain quality control and attention to detail

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active, clear Pharmacist license in the state of Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience, demonstrating strong pharmaceutical knowledge and patient care skills
• Proficient with pharmacy management systems, preferably Pioneer Rx
