A pharmacy professional is needed to provide outpatient and clinic pharmacy services in an in-house pharmacy setting within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This role involves supporting behavioral health patients and managing community pharmacy duties, including multi-dose and blister packing.

Location: Sellersburg, IN
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
    Job Type: Contract, starting ASAP for 8 weeks, with potential to transition to a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) position

Responsibilities:

  • Perform typical community pharmacy tasks, including prescription dispensing and patient counseling
  • Handle multi-dose and blister packing
  • Work closely with two experienced pharmacy technicians
  • Utilize Pioneer pharmacy system to manage approximately 100 prescriptions daily
  • Support the pharmacys integration within the larger FQHC network

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Recent experience in community pharmacy practice
  • Familiarity with outpatient/clinic pharmacy operations
  • Experience with 340B program preferred but not required
  • Ability to work effectively in a team with pharmacy technicians
