Travel LTC Retail Pharmacist | Sergeant Bluff, Iowa

A specialty pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist for a travel assignment lasting 13+ weeks in Webster City, IA. This role focuses on providing comprehensive Long Term Care and Retail pharmacy services within a dynamic, patient-centered environment.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 am 5:30 pm
• Some weekend shifts required

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently for long term care and retail patients
• Provide counseling and education to patients regarding prescriptions and over-the-counter medications
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain complete and up-to-date records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Assist with immunizations and other patient support services as applicable

Qualifications:

• Valid Iowa Pharmacist License or Iowa Temporary License
• Previous experience in long term care and retail pharmacy settings strongly preferred
• Immunization certification is a plus
• CPR certification is desirable
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
