Position Overview

A Long-Term Care pharmacy in Lehighton, PA is seeking a Pennsylvania-licensed Pharmacist to provide temporary coverage throughout September 2026.

This is a great opportunity for a Pharmacist with LTC experience who is looking for flexible work. The Pharmacist will be responsible for prescription verification, medication dispensing oversight, and supporting the pharmacy team with daily operations while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.

Coverage Dates September 2026

Coverage is needed on the following dates:

• September 10
• September 11
• September 14
• September 15
• September 16
• September 17
• September 18
• September 21
• September 23
• September 24
• September 25
• September 28
• September 30

Shift: 10:00 AM6:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Ensure medications are dispensed accurately and within required timelines.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other members of the pharmacy team.
• Support the daily workflow and operational needs of the LTC pharmacy.
• Maintain compliance with applicable pharmacy regulations and patient safety standards.
• Address pharmacist-level responsibilities and operational needs as they arise.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support efficient pharmacy operations.

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Previous professional pharmacy experience.
• Long-Term Care pharmacy experience preferred.
• Familiarity with QS1 and/or DocuTrack preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety.
• Reliable and dependable attendance.
• Availability to work multiple coverage dates throughout September.
