A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a Night Shift Pharmacist in a 175-bed hospital setting, utilizing advanced technology such as EPIC and Pyxis. This role is based in the Sparks/Reno area, offering 7-on, 7-off night shifts with 10-hour scheduled hours designed for balanced work-life management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
• Consult with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapies and patient care.
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles in patient-specific medication management.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Nevada pharmacist license.
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience highly preferred.
• Proven ability to work effectively during night shifts.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to interdisciplinary care.
