A 13-week travel opportunity is available for a Pharmacist with robust clinical experience, preferably with decentralized ICU exposure, at a 120-bed community hospital in Kerrville, TX. This role requires a proactive professional to support hospital pharmacy operations in a dynamic setting.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday day shifts (start times between 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM)
• Coverage every 4th weekend
• Potential future transition to 2nd shift (11:45 AM 10:15 PM, 10-hour shifts)
• Flexibility in scheduling is highly desirable

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services in a hospital environment, including medication preparation and administration oversight
• Participate in ICU decentralized pharmacy functions if applicable
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize pharmacotherapy and patient outcomes
• Utilize hospital systems such as Meditech, MedKeeper for IV admixtures, and Omnicell medication dispensing technology
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and institutional policies

Qualifications:

• Active Texas pharmacist license required
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience essential
• Strong clinical background, with particular preference for candidates experienced in decentralized ICU settings
• Adaptability to varying shifts and willingness to support weekend coverage
• Proficiency with Meditech, MedKeeper, and Omnicell systems is a plus
