Key Responsibilities:

• Provide proactive patient counseling and medication education via phone, addressing inquiries about new prescriptions, refills, side effects, adherence, and correct medication use.
• Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions to ensure therapeutic appropriateness, identify drug interactions, contraindications, and confirm accurate dosing.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and patients to promote medication adherence and optimize therapy outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Possess a clear and active pharmacist license in the state of Idaho, or willingness to obtain Idaho licensure.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills necessary for effective patient interactions and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Experience in mail order and retail pharmacy environments preferred.
