A 100-bed community hospital located approximately 1 to 1.5 hours north of Oklahoma City seeks a Clinical Pharmacist to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for a new graduate, especially those with a PGY1 residency, looking to transition into a permanent role while working daytime shifts. The hospital utilizes Meditech for its information technology systems, offering a supportive environment for pharmacists to grow their clinical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians ensuring compliance with protocols
• Participate in pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosage adjustments
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
• Provide drug information and clinical consultation to healthcare teams

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid Oklahoma pharmacist license required
• Hospital experience preferred but new graduates with residency training are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency or willingness to learn Meditech system
