A community hospital in Stillwater, OK, is seeking a skilled pharmacist to support their 100-bed facility. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work nights on a consistent 7-on, 7-off schedule, contributing to patient care in a hospital setting approximately 1 to 1.5 hours north of Oklahoma City.
Responsibilities include:
- Verifying medication orders for accuracy and safety
- Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
- Applying pharmacokinetic principles to optimize medication therapy
- Consulting with physicians and nurses to provide expert pharmaceutical advice
- Utilizing Meditech electronic health records for medication management
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid Oklahoma pharmacist license
