Hospital Pharmacist | Stockton, California

An opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist with hospital experience to support a healthcare facility in Stockton, CA. This contract position begins as soon as possible and extends for 13 weeks or longer.

Responsibilities include verifying medication orders, supervising pharmacy technicians, and consulting with physicians and nurses to ensure optimal patient care. Additional tasks involve managing pharmacokinetics and contributing to clinical decision-making processes. The role uses information technology systems including Cerner and Omnicell, with a planned transition to EPIC.

Key Qualifications:

• Current pharmacist license in California
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficiency in medication order verification and pharmacy operations
• Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
• Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell systems preferred
