Hospital Oncology Pharmacist | Sugar Land, Texas

A well-established 500+ bed hospital in a major medical center is seeking an Oncology Inpatient Pharmacist to provide expert medication management in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate closely with multidisciplinary patient care teams, enhance treatment protocols, and positively impact patient outcomes within the oncology department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in daily patient care rounds with the clinical team, offering medication-related recommendations
• Develop and update treatment protocols using Epic and Epic Beacon systems
• Facilitate seamless transition of care by coordinating with outpatient oncology pharmacists
• Submit non-formulary medication requests as needed
• Coordinate specialty medication access and management for oncology patients

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Texas pharmacist license
• Texas Intravenous (IV) Certification
• Minimum of 3 years inpatient pharmacy experience, with strong oncology background
• Experience utilizing Epic electronic health record system preferred

Schedule:

• Day shifts
