Location: Sulphur, Louisiana
Job Type: Travel assignment, 13+ weeks duration
Schedule: Multiple shifts available; options include 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts such as:

  • 7 AM 3:30 PM
  • 8 AM 4:30 PM
  • 1 PM 9 PM
  • 2 PM 10 PM
  • 7 AM 5 PM
  • 11 AM 9 PM
  • 12 Noon 10 PM
  • 7 AM 7 PM
  • 8 AM 8 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify medication orders with precision and adherence to safety standards
  • Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to optimize workflow
  • Collaborate and consult effectively with physicians and nursing staff ensuring best patient outcomes
  • Manage pharmacokinetics to individualize patient care
  • Utilize EPIC electronic health records for accurate documentation and communication

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Louisiana Pharmacist License required
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification necessary
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
