LTC Pharmacist | Sun Prairie, Wisconsin

This opportunity is seeking a licensed pharmacist experienced in long-term care pharmacy to support a specialized LTC environment. The role requires strong skills in prescription management and order entry utilizing the QS1 system. This position provides the chance to contribute critical pharmacy services to a community-focused healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage prescription processing and dispensing with accuracy and attention to detail in a long-term care (LTC) specialty setting
• Utilize QS1 software for order entry and medication verification
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and pharmacy best practices
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication regimens
• Maintain proper documentation and adhere to all policies and procedures

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Wisconsin pharmacy license
• Prior experience working in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings
• Proficient with QS1 pharmacy system
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to effectively work within interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Location:

• Based in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin

Schedule:

• Full-time days, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Rotating weekend shifts
• Contract duration: 13 weeks (with two positions available)
