Hospital Pharmacist - Sun Valley, Nevada

A reputable hospital in Sun Valley, NV, is seeking a skilled Night Shift Pharmacist to support a 175-bed facility. This role offers the opportunity to utilize your hospital pharmacy expertise to provide critical medication management and patient care on a 7 on, 7 off night schedule with 10-hour shifts. The position is contract-based, starting soon with a duration of 13 weeks or longer.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and compliance with hospital protocols
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain safe and efficient workflow
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to optimize patient medication therapy
• Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring to individualize drug therapy plans
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems to manage prescriptions and inventory effectively

Qualifications:

• Valid Nevada pharmacist license required
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Ability to confidently work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Strong communication skills to engage with clinical staff and support multidisciplinary patient care
